Advice from homeschoolers:
If you have an only child, be sure to take time to find out what he/she is thinking and wants to do. It is really easy to fall into the trap of sharing your interests to the point that your child doesn’t develop his/her own. Don’t help him/her with everything. Give your child the opportunity to be an independent learner.
